Mental Health Clinician
The Shift is a small, concierge style private practice that strives to provide high quality individualized psychology and wellness services. We are building a team of authentic and innovative clinicians dedicated to providing evidence-based psychotherapy, via telehealth. The ideal candidate will be organized and reliable with a strong emphasis on culturally sensitive and collaborative therapeutic care. Excellent relationship building, writing, task management, and communication skills are essential. We are prioritizing clinicians that operate from a Cognitive Behavioral approach to psychotherapy and understand the role of cultural context when conceptualizing cases.
Qualifications and Responsibilities are as follows:
• Licensed candidates must have an active clinical license in good standing with their associated Board.
• License eligible candidates, approved by the Maryland board, will also be considered.
• Excellent computer and email skills, to include operating virtual meeting/videoconferencing platforms.
• Ability to exhibit a high level of organizational skills and able to prioritize and multi-task without direct supervision.
-Providing individual or group psychotherapy, exclusively via telehealth, to late adolescents and adults.
-Flexibility to meet clients when available, with at least 6 open client appointments per week, maintaining an average of 20 sessions per month. 1-2 evenings per week required.
-Maintain stringent clinical and billing documentation utilizing the EMR in accordance with practice policies and procedures, HIPAA, state and professional guidelines.
-Attending clinical supervision meetings with clinical director.
-Collaborate with clinical director regarding referrals and scheduling.
